Places of Exchange at the Heart of Parenting
Eltereforum in EDI
In the current issue of EDI, the Eltereforum is introduced to you. The article highlights the role of the parenting forums as open and welcoming places where parents can find information, support and opportunities for exchange, from pregnancy through to their children’s adulthood.
With ten regional locations across the country, Eltereforum offers a wide range of free conferences, workshops, parent-child activities and individual consultations. The aim is to empower parents in their parenting role, provide guidance and create opportunities to connect with other parents and professionals.
Particular emphasis is placed on the individual consultations, which take place in a confidential and supportive environment and are tailored to the needs of each family. Activities such as Meet & Play also enable parents to meet, share experiences and build connections, while their children play and explore in a safe environment.
The article highlights Eltereforum’s preventive approach: strong and confident parents are better equipped to support and guide their children. Through listening, counselling and exchanges with other families, we work together to create a positive environment that promotes the well-being of both children and parents.
