GeoGuessr Workshop

Stell dir vor, du wirst irgendwo auf der Welt ausgesetzt und musst raten, wo du dich befindest. Genau darum geht es beim Online-Spiel GeoGuessr. Lerne das Spiel in unserem Workshop kennen und teste dein geografisches Wissen!

Im Spiel werden zufällige Orte auf der ganzen Welt präsentiert, basierend auf Google Streetview. Die Aufgabe der Spielenden ist nun möglichst genau zu bestimmen, wo sie sich befinden. Auf welcher Straßenseite fahren die Autos? Wie sieht die Natur aus? Was genau steht auf diesem Schild? All das können wichtige Informationen sein, um den Rate-Pin auf der Weltkarte gut zu platzieren.

Mit seiner spannenden Mischung aus Geografie und Rätselspaß erfreut sich das Spiel in den letzten Jahren immer größerer Beliebtheit. Erst kürzlich versammelten sich die besten Spieler*innen zur ersten GeoGuessr-Weltmeisterschaft in Stockholm.

Im Workshop schauen wir uns zunächst gemeinsam an, wie das Spiel funktioniert. Ausgestattet mit ein paar Tipps & Tricks geht es dann direkt ans Spielen. Bringt dafür bitte wenn möglich einen Laptop mit.
