Introducing solids (EN)

For a mindful and relaxed start with food.

For the first 6 months, breast milk or formula is your baby’s food. But the time for the first meal will come.

  • When is my baby ready to eat?
  • How do I combine breastfeeding and solids?
  • Purées or food from the family table?
  • How do I protect my baby from choking?
  • What can my baby eat independently and what is taboo?
  • Is it possible to feed my baby purée in a baby led manner?

Baby Led Weaning (BLW) is a natural and relaxed way of introducing solids. It allows your baby to discover food in a self-determined way at his or her own pace. In our interactive workshop we will answer your questions together and learn what really matters – for a relaxed complementary feeding time without frustration, but with a lot of pleasure and joy in eating!
