The aim of BEE SECURE is to promote safer, more responsible and positive use of information technology among the general public, and particularly among parents, who are the reference point for their children and must set a good example.
BEE SECURE is a government initiative of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, operated by the Service national de la jeunesse (SNJ) and the KJT, in partnership with Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity, the Police Lëtzebuerg and the Parquet général du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg. The service is coordinated by the SNJ and co-financed by the European Commission. Government involvement is ensured by the Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth, the Ministry of the Economy and the Ministry of Family and Integration. BEE SECURE is part of the European networks INSAFE (awareness centres) and INHOPE (reporting centres for illegal content)
