With the entry into force on 1er The National School of Physical Education and Sport (ENEPS) was converted into the National Institute of Physical Activity and Sport (INAPS - Ministry of Sport) on 1 October 2023 by the law creating the National Institute of Physical Activity and Sport.
The missions of the INAPS have been modernised and broadened compared with those of the ENEPS, to give the newly-created institute the means to take account of society's growing needs in terms of physical activity and sport.
The vision of the INAPS is to act as a centre of competence and resources, committed to contributing to the ongoing development of the quality of sport and physical activity in Luxembourg, at all levels.
This qualitative development is achieved through the training of technical and administrative sports staff, as well as teachers and educators, and also through the support and advice of players and institutions that have a direct and significant impact on the experience of sport and physical activity in Luxembourg, such as ministries, state and local authorities and sports federations.
